Anticipating weather conditions

We advise you to check the Met Office websites daily (morning and afternoon) during the winter months, as weather conditions can rapidly change, so you are able to prepare your school in time for severe weather: weather forecast for London and the South East (link is external) and Met Office radar. Schools should avoid making a decision to close based on a forecast or weather warning.

Experience would suggest that the weather may not materialise, may not be as severe as expected or may not cause the disruption expected.
