CLEAPSS school account registration - Action needed

CLEAPSS is an advisory service providing science and technology advice for a consortium of local authorities and their schools.

CLEAPSS covers science, radiation protection, design technology, food technology ,art and design, textiles and more. Their resources include model risk assessments, training for staff and they also have a technical helpdesk which is very useful.

Action for schools

To continue using the CLEAPSS services, someone from your school will need to activate your CLEAPSS account here: https://my.cleapss.org.uk/Account-Request.aspx

• For secondary schools - this could be the head of department or the senior technician in the science, D&T or art departments, or someone from the senior leadership team who leads on safety matters in the school
• For primary schools - this could be the headteacher or another person with overall responsibility for health and safety matters.
