25 Mar 2024
Following on from the ELP leadership conference, the speaker Sinéad McBrearty from Education Support spoke about the fully funded professional supervision for school leaders.
The offer
- Fully funded professional supervision gives you a safe and confidential space to talk about, and process what is going on for you at work.
- You will work with qualified and experienced supervisors to focus on your mental wellbeing and help you develop new coping strategies to feel more fulfilled and in control.
- You will receive six free one-to-one sessions by Zoom or telephone, which are completely confidential.
Who the service is for
- This service is for headteachers, deputy headteachers, assistant headteachers, MAT CEOs and MAT Deputy CEOs based in state funded primary or secondary schools.
- You must be able to commit to attending six sessions of professional supervision (one hour per session, approximately once every three to four weeks) during the working day
- This service is funded by the Department for Education
After taking part in the service 95% headteachers reported feeling less anxious and 100% teachers felt more supported.
