ELP assistant and deputy headteacher conference

13 Feb 2025

Sixty assistant and deputy headteachers attended the residential conference.

The conference presented a fantastic opportunity to gain insights from our keynote speaker, Dr Daryl Michel, on balancing accountability, agency, and trust.

It aligned seamlessly with ELP’s strategy of High Challenge, Low Threat and offered senior leaders a platform to collaborate and problem-solve with a focus on instructional leadership.

Dr Michel’s work complements the Spirals of Enquiry methodology being introduced across Ealing schools, ensuring a cohesive and impactful learning experience.

Dr Jeremy Hannay, headteacher at Three Bridges opened the conference and spoke about the importance of developing teacher agency within an effective professional learning structure.
