Proposal to establish a specialist resourced provision (SRP) at Grange Primary School

20 Jan 2025

School governors and Ealing Council want to hear your views about the development of a specialist resourced provision (SRP) at Grange Primary school.

Full details on the proposal can be found in the
Grange SRP consultation document

Proposed provision

The provision will be for up to 36 children with an Education Health and Care Plan with with Autism / speech, language and communication and associated learning needs.

A small number of children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan may require a high level of specialist support for which this type of provision can meet their needs and support them to make good progress .

Depending on individual needs, pupils would spend the majority of their time in the specialist classrooms, and some of their time in mainstream classes and activities where appropriate to their needs, supported by specialist staff.

The council is committed to further developing inclusive education for all pupils in Ealing. Grange Primary School governors support this goal. The development of a SRP is a central part of the drive to develop a more inclusive education for all pupils, inlcuding those with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND).
