Are you looking to recruit governors for your school/governing body?

Are you interested in meeting people passionate about education who would like to become a school governor and help shape decisions that directly impact the school learning environment and the wider school community.

We are holding a governor recruitment event specifically to attract individuals from our African Caribbean communities. It will also provide an opportunity for schools/governing boards to meet potential new governors of African Caribbean heritage.

Date and time: Thursday 16 January 2025 from 6 - 8pm

Venue: Ealing Education Centre.

Increase the diversity of governing bodies

The Ealing Race Equality Commission along with ELP identified the need to increase the diversity of governing bodies to better reflect the pupils within Ealing schools.

As such we are running recruitment events to support Ealing governing boards with recruitment of specific groups from our communities. This event will hopefully attract members of the African Caribbean community to become governors and who can bring their skills, voice and perspective governing boards.
